The XTAdmin administration program helps you set up and manage one or more databases.
With it, you can:
1.Set up database access for
•SQLite databases
•Microsoft SQL databases
•MySQL/MariaDB databases
2. Manage users (add/delete), view logins
3. Set the login mode for users
4. Reset all data tables to create a new database
5. Import or export data
6. Maintain the database (execute SQL commands, permanently delete deleted records, set server IP, recover deleted projects)
7. Perform a data backup when using Access and SQLite databases
8. Install a software update using XTUpdater.
9. Set a ping to the database server to catch connection interruptions with a proper error message.
10. Restore deleted records.

Only the database administrator should have access to this program, as it can be used to make serious changes to the Xpert Timer system. If you are using a database with multi-user access (MS-SQL Server), it is best to install only the program files for client access (minimal installation) for each employee. |
In the database info, you can see all relevant data for your connection. Please ensure that the patch level of the program and the database match. If this is not the case, click on Update DB structure in the Maintenance tab.
